This
product bulletin is to update the field to pay careful attention and to monitor
entering the correct switch serial number when ordering the Brocade upgrade
software.
To
ensure that, please match the serial number prefix of the device type, as
listed in this bulletin, with the serial number of the device you are
upgrading.
2.
What’s New
The
Brocade software upgrade license cannot be acquired without the switch serial
number. If the correct Brocade switch serial number is not entered, the order will be canceled. Please enter the
serial number for every Brocade switch
software upgrade and verify it against the serial number prefixes in the following
table.
